The Iran Open international competition is held annually with the support of the RoboCup World Federation since April 2005. Hundreds of teams from all over the world participate in these competitions every year. In the 12th edition of this competition in Tehran, the student team of Applied Intelligent Systems Research Institute won the first place in the unmanned aircraft league.
